The furnace is a complex equipment and massive in size which makes its isolation a critical procedure on its on. In this training, the trainee is able to practice the required steps to prepare a furnace for maintenance which includes isolation, blinding, preservation and lockout/tagout.
Why take this course?
Most of the incidents happen during startup or shutdown of the furnace. In this training, the preparation steps are broken down to the trainee so that it can be practiced and mastered before the actual job takes place in the field.
