What is the LVA Training Hub and why do I need it?

Short answer: The LVA Training Hub is the single app you use on a standalone VR headset (e.g., Meta Quest) to log in, see your assigned modules, and start Linde Virtual Academy trainings. It’s required for proper authentication and progress tracking on standalone devices.

 


What it does

  • Central access — one place to launch all assigned trainings.
  • Progress & plans — view assigned modules, completions, and status.
  • Consistent UX — same interface across trainings.
  • Automatic updates — get new content and improvements via the Hub.
  • Secure login & tracking — ties sessions to your LVA account.

Where to get it (Meta Quest)

  1. Put on your Meta Quest and connect to Wi-Fi.
  2. Open the Store.
  3. Search for “LVA Training Hub” or “Linde Virtual Academy”.
  4. Select the app and tap Download.
  5. After installation, it appears in Library.

How to start the Training Hub

  1. From your Quest main menu, open Apps/Library.
  2. Launch LVA Training Hub.
  3. Log in with your LVA account (see options below).
  4. Your dashboard shows all assigned modules — select one to start.

Login options (choose one)

  • 4-digit code (recommended):

a) On your phone, open the QR in this article or go to the VR login page.

b) Sign in and note the 4-digit code.
c) Enter the code in the Training Hub when prompted.

  • Email + password: Enter your LVA credentials directly in the headset.

 

Requirements & support

  • You need a valid LVA account. If you don’t have one, contact your Facility/Company Admin.
  • All standalone trainings must be launched via the Training Hub for progress tracking.
  • If you have trouble finding or installing the app, contact your Facility Admin or the LVA Support Team.
