The Linde Virtual Academy – VR Training application offered by Linde GmbH (Linde) shall support organization (“Organization”) by providing an online learning & training platform in training their operational and maintenance personal on tasks relevant for the operation of gas production facilities in a safe environment. The Organization granting you access to the Linde Virtual Academy – VR Training application is a Linde GmbH customer that collects and processes your personal data. This privacy notice describes the processing of personal data you and/or the organization has inputted into the VR Training application for the purpose of training.
The following Statement is provided by Linde GmbH in producing a data protection notice in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR” – EU Regulation 2016/679) requirements. From time to time, it may be necessary to adapt this statement as whole as well as specific parts of it to comply with legal requirements or to cover changed or additional processing activities.

4. With whom we will share your personal data
Personal data will be made available to other companies of Linde GmbH if and insofar as this is necessary for internal administrative purposes. Typical examples are centralized IT services, and communications. We use external service providers as processors who may process personal data only on our behalf and subject to our instructions. This is the case, for example with website analytics, hosting of IT infrastructure or subscription to alert services.
In the context of the continuous development of our business, we may divest subsidiaries or business parts or merge our business or parts thereof with another company. Such transactions typically entail the transfer of customer information pertaining to the sold or divested subsidiary or business part to the buyer or to the company created by the merger. In the unlikely event of a complete sale of Linde or substantial parts thereof, your personal information will also be transferred to the buyer.
5. Where we transfer your personal data – International Data Transfers
We take care not to transfer your data to recipients in countries without an adequate level of data protection (third countries). However, in some cases, this cannot be completely avoided. If you decide to get into a business relationship or actively subscribe to our Linde E-Mail newsletter will process personal data processed for core business purposes includes. This might include

If you are of the opinion that the processing of personal data by Linde is not in accordance with the data protection regulations or you are not satisfied with the information provided by us, you have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (see Art. 77 GDPR).
